Water and Wastewater Management for a Clean and Healthy Village in Mallur panchayat, Karnataka.
AquaMAP is undertaking domestic wastewater treatment through Nature Based Solutions like Constructed Wetlands in two villages ; Kachahalli and Ankathatti of Mallur Panchayat, Chikballapur district in Karnataka.
Objectives
To create a clean and healthy village through effective water and wastewater management
Scope of the work
- Construction of a modified septic tank
- Collection of domestic wastewater (grey water and septic tank effluent) through a small-bore system and transport it to a nature-based wastewater treatment solution
- Implementation of a nature-based wastewater treatment such as a constructed wetland.
The work in Kachahalli is funded by Amadeus Software Pvt Ltd and the works in Ankathatti are funded by Gramaantara Trust, Bengaluru
